Our charming Maleny guest house is nestled in the rolling green highlands of the Blackall Range, part of the stunning Sunshine Coast hinterland. Situated just 1 hour north of Brisbane, The Guesthouse offers easy access to the best attractions and destinations the Sunshine Coast has to offer — including Montville (15 mins), Mapleton (25 mins), and the beautiful beaches of Caloundra (30 mins west), with Mooloolaba and Noosa further north along the coast.
Directions from Brisbane – 90 km North
Take the Bruce Highway north, then exit at Beerburrum onto Steve Irwin Way heading towards the Glasshouse Mountains. Continue past Australia Zoo and Landsborough, then take the Landsborough turnoff and follow Landsborough-Maleny Road straight into Maleny. The Guesthouse is visible on the right as you enter the town.
From Caloundra & Sunshine Coast Beaches – 35 km West
From Caloundra, head west along Caloundra Road and turn left onto Steve Irwin Way towards the Glasshouse Mountains. Take the Landsborough exit and follow Landsborough-Maleny Road to Maleny. The Guesthouse will be on your right as you arrive. When exploring, head north to enjoy Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Coolum, Peregian Beach, Sunshine Beach, and Noosa.
From Kenilworth – 30 km East
Travel east along Maleny-Kenilworth Road, passing Boloumba Creek, Conondale, and Witta until you reach Maleny. On your return, consider the scenic Mary Valley Highway for a taste of Queensland’s rich dairy country, or take a detour east via Eumundi to the northern Sunshine Coast beaches including Sunshine Beach and Noosa.
