The Guesthouse, Maleny
Stay at The Guesthouse for a ‘one of a kind’ Sunshine Coast hinterland experience in a lovely 1920's Queenslander, relocated to Maleny on the banks of the Obi Obi River.
On the street level is The Residence, a charming three-bedroom house meticulously restored with detailed period refinement.
Visitors will delight in the genuine features, including hardwood timber floors, high decorative ceilings,VJ walls, stunning lead-lighting, pressed metal feature walls, imported French chandeliers, wool carpeting and much much more.
The Residence has three double bedrooms, an internal study which may be used as an extra bedroom, two bathrooms, spacious living and separate dining, a fireplace, a high-quality entertainer’s kitchen and a large entertaining deck with delightful north-facing views. Onsite parking is available for eight cars.
Visitors will luxuriate in our organic cotton linen and very comfortable beds for the most restful sleep in Maleny.
On the lower level are four self-contained one-bedroom studios and apartments, The Tamarind and Tallowood Apartments (which include kitchen facilities) and the Rosewood and the Ribbonwood Studios ( which do not include kitchens or cooking facilities).
For large groups we can combine all our spaces – in total eight beds and 15 guests.
